On June 13, 2007, Louis William Saffran, Jr., of Glen Burnie. Beloved husband of Priscilla; loving father to Denise Carey and her husband Chuck; dear son of Margaret Saffran and the late Louis Wiliam Saffran, Sr.; caring brother of Jean Dinkel and Richard Saffran; and cherished grandfather to Chuckie, Patrick, and Amanda. He served in the United States Air Force from 1959-1963, was ranked Sargeant. He was a Maryland State Trooper from 1964-1986. Louis was awarded Police Officer of the year in 1972.
