Louis Wayne Dunigan, 75 years old, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to so many, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 18, 2022. He entered this world on October 5, 1946, born to Isaac and Ruby Dunigan, in Baton Rouge, LA. Louis served his community for many years on the Planning and Zoning Commission and as a Councilman for the City of Baker.
Louis is survived by his loving wife of 53 years and 8 months, Sheila Alderman Dunigan; daughters, Heather Dunigan and wife Renea Rios of Pensacola, FL, Heidi Peak and husband Clyne of Zachary; grandchildren, Hayden Dunigan, Kennedy Parker; brother, Willard Ray Dunigan and wife Lucille; brother-in-law and wife, Tommy and Patti Alderman of Brookhaven, MS; sisters, Elizabeth Dunigan and Susan Bonnette; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Louis is preceded in death by his father, Isaac Willard Dunigan; mother, Ruby Mae Dunigan; and in-laws, Ralph Alderman and Frances Geraldine Alderman.
