Cambridge City- Louis S. Cheek, 70, former minister of Milan, Illinois, passed away on Monday morning February 8, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital of Winchester, Indiana. A son of the late Lester Eugene and Rachel Elizabeth (Elam) Cheek, Louis was born in Liberty, Indiana on May 8, 1939. Formerly of the Cambridge City, Indiana area, he grew up on a farm and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1957. He had worked for Miller Dairy of Cambridge City and DANA Corporation in Hagerstown before becoming a minister. He graduated from the Johnson Bible College at Knoxville, Tennessee in 1973.
