Louis Rochebrun, 83, passed away on February 2, 2022 at his home in Orange Park, FL. He was born on August 13, 1938 in Jeremie, Haiti, to the late Oreluis Rochebrun and Elenese Gilbert.
Louis was a hard-working man who was loved for his laughter and energetic personality. After he graduated from high school, he worked as a cook, in maintenance and as a freight elevator operator. He loved to take care of his home, have fun, laugh, and entertain. With his Haitian heritage, he enjoyed merengue and salsa music. He loved to fish whenever he had the chance and took pride in gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister, Jeannette Rochebrun Henriquez and a brother.
Louis is survived by his loving wife of over 26 years, Edante Rochebrun; children, Steve Lee Rochebrun and Charlene Rose Poole; step-daughters, Mona and Myrna; son-in-law, Torrell; grandson, Tywaine Louis Rochebrun and great-grandchildren, Tywaine “TJ” Louis Rochebrun, Jr.
Louis lived a full life, coming from Haiti to NY then to NJ and to Homestead, FL then on to Jacksonville. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.
