Louis Leo “Lee” Payne, son of Russell L. and Katherine Countess Payne, was born on May 22, 1921 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was married to the former Kathryn Ward in April 1944. Lee and Kitty moved to North Linthicum in 1948, where they resided for 58 years until moving into an assisted living facility in Severna Park in 2006. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on April 22, 2007. Kitty passed away on June 30, 2007.
Lee worked for the B&O Railroad, retiring in 1981.
