Louis passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Bayfield Assisted Living at the age of 91 years. He was born in Bay City on April 6, 1928 to the late Harry and Margarite Janke. He married the former Esther Brown in Bay City and she preceded him in death in 2009. Louis worked for Morley Brothers for many years and then worked and retired from Jennison Hardware. He was very active in North East Little League Baseball and while president was able to relocate the ball diamond. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.
Louis is survived by his sons, John (Gina), Peter (Jolaine), Jeff (Lisa) and Steve; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren and sister, Carmelita. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his son, Mark; grandson, Matthew and brothers, John and Dick.
