Louis G.Dannecker passed peacefully from this life into God’s loving hands on
August 8, 2017.
Lou is survived by his devoted wife of thirty-four years, Phyllis, his sister Claire Dannecker Strand, her husband Mel, and their son Marcus. He also leaves mother-in-law Ada Birchall, sister-in-law Lorraine Kozakewicz, and her son Matthew and his wife Amy, Janice Tomachick, her husband Martin, and their sons Jonathan and Martin and his wife Megan.
Lou was born to the late Claire and Louis Dannecker, in Philadelphia, PA. on September 1, 1945.
He graduated with honors from La Salle University, and was a member of the Honor Society of Alpha Epsilon .
Throughout his life he enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, golf, biking and photography. Lou especially enjoyed traveling and photography.
Lou’s favorite trip was a photo Safari to Kenya and Tanzania. Lou published a beautiful book of his photos called The Wildlife of Kenya and Tanzania.
