On December 10, 2018, Louis Earl Bohuslav, 83, of Severn passed after a brief illness.
The son of John and Theresa (nee Berger) he was born in Baltimore and spent his youth in Pasadena before coming to Severn in 1966.
Louis served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer from 1958 to 1962. A hard working man, he labored at Kennecott Copper Refining Corporation for several years, then was a computer operator for General Electric from 1971-1991. His final career and one that he cherished most was owning and operating a Meineke Discount Muffler Franchise, with his wife, for over a decade.
After retiring, Louis always kept himself busy with several hobbies. Louis had a particular love for “hotrods” and classic cars and enjoyed restoring, maintaining and generally tinkering with cars. From an early age, he was known for loving to work on anything that had a motor and wheels attached to it. He often participated in showing his cars at local car shows and he enjoyed restoring old cars, a love he shared with his son.
Louis also collected coins and had a fondness for acquiring antique firearms.
He was a member of the Glen Burnie Moose and faithfully attended Pasadena United Methodist Church.
Louis joins his wife of 40 years, Carol J. in eternity, together forever.
Surviving him are his beloved daughter, Kelli J. Bohuslav-Kail and her husband Matthew and his loving son, Robert L. and his wife Christine. His legacy continues with three dear grandchildren Michael, Isabella and Liliana Kail.
Preceding him in death are brothers Albert and Joseph Bohuslav.
His family and friends are heartbroken. He will be sorely missed…..
