Louis Carmen Mastrianni Sr., age 84, resident of Milford, born and raised in Bridgeport, the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (DeAngelo) Mastrone, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He served in the Air force during the Korean War were he rose to the rank of Staff Sargent.
( Cate ) Mastrianni, of Milford and Chris (Michele) Mastrianni of Derby; five grandchildren, Nicole ( Jeffrey ) Stockmal, Christopher Mastrianni (fiancé Kaylee McDonald) , Elliott Abbotts, Tavia Mastrianni , Anaka Mastrianni; two great grandsons Jacob and Caden Stockmal and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters; twin sister Mary , Irene, Edith, and three brothers, Andrew , Joseph , Arthur.
Lou worked for A&P before Retiring in 1992 after 38 years. Lou and Barb enjoyed traveling which included many trips to Atlantic City, Las Vegas , Aruba , South Carolina and weekly trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
The family wish to convey their sincerest gratitude to Dr. Chao, Dr. Kashaf, the oncology staff at the West Haven VA Hospital and the staff at Vitas healthcare for their compassion and very tender care for which they are forever grateful.
