Louis F.”Buddy” Spada, 79, of Cromwell, husband of Barbara (Adams) Spada, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 17th. Born in Cromwell, he was the son of the late Anthony and Emanuella (Luistro) Spada. A lifetime resident of Cromwell, he attended Cromwell Schools and graduated with the wonderful Class of 1952 from Middletown High School. He graduated from New England Technical School in Providence, RI, served in the U.S. Army and then joined the family business, Spada’s Oil which evolved into Cromwell Energy, Inc. and remains family owned and operated.
