Louis “Bubby” Ferrari, Sr., 54, of Bridgeport, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 28, 2010 in the transplant intensive care unit at UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh, from complications while waiting for a liver transplant. Bubby was born in Clarksburg, on June 13, 1955, a son of Josephine G. Lopez Ferrari, and the late Louis P. Ferrari. He was married to Patricia Post Ferrari on March 14, 1981, who survives. Also surviving are four children, Vincentia, Anthony, Miranda and Alisha, and his beloved pets, Harley, Maggie, and Baylee, all of Bridgeport; two brothers, Frank Ferrari and his wife Nancy, Clarksburg, and David Ferrari and his wife Suzette, Bridgeport; brothers and sisters-in-law, Helen Post-Brown, Fairmont, Vincent J. Post, Jr. and his wife Theresa, Parkersburg, Paul Post and his wife Chris, Lost Creek, Charles Post and his wife Kitty, Fairmont, David Post and his wife Nancy, New Orleans, Billy Post, Clarksburg, Dora Post, Rainelle, Mary Ann Carvelli and her husband Chris, Clarksburg, Bradley Post, Clarksburg, and Sandy Hawkins and her husband Patrick, Clarksburg; nieces and nephews, Stacey, Shawn, Seth and Sarah Brown, Vince III and Christine Post, Claudine and Chad Woodyard, Jessica and Jimmie Randolph, Matthew Post, Christian Post, Timothy, Chad and Clay Post, Luke and Abby Post, Victoria, Cameron and Corey Carvelli, Frank N. Ferrari, and Lee and Cheryl Romine; great nieces and nephews, Trevor and Jacob Woodyard, Brendon Post, VJ Post IV, and Patience and Preston Randolph. Bubby received his Bachelor of Science degree from Fairmont State College in 1977, where he was a member of the Tau Beta Iota (TBI) Fraternity. He was a Certified Petroleum Landman, and was manager and Vice President of Land for LBJ Energy Associates, LLC, Exploration Partners, LLC, and Geostrata, LLC. He was a member of the Independent Oil and Gas Association of WV (IOGA), Knights of Columbus, Michael Late Benedum Chapter of American Association of Petroleum Councilmen where he was President from 1998-1999, was a member of Sons of Italy William Marconi Lodge No. 1140 O.S.I.A Clarksburg, and graduated from the F.B.I. Citizens Academy. He loved to play golf and root for the WVU Mountaineers and Pittsburgh Steelers. He was Catholic by faith and taught Sunday School at All Saints Catholic Church. Bubby was a loving father and husband that devoted his life to his family and friends. He provided unconditional support and care to everyone in his life. He was a friend to all and one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Bubby was truly one of a kind.
