Louella Mae Moritz, 89, passed away November 22 peacefully at the Good Samaritan Society home in Manson.
Louella was born on February 25, 1932, to James Merrill Sr and Bertha Neavin Steburg in Fort Dodge Iowa. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1950. On January 2, 1954, she was united in marriage to Donald L Moritz at St.
Louella is survived by her children, John of Pulaski, IA, Donald of Manson, Kathy (Gene) Thelke of Dows, Bill (Zoe) of Fairfield. She has eight grandchildren, Karl, Clayton, and Kelly Moritz, Nici and Eric Miller, Cindy Oberbroeckling, Lisa Krog, and Kent Thelke along with 14 great grandchildren. Sisters, Beverly Johnson, Fort Dodge, and Connie (Jack) Harris, Las Vegas.
Louella is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, daughter-in-law, Sharon Moritz, brother James Merrill Jr, sister-in-law Esther Merrill, sister Martha Sanden, and brothers-in-law Donald Johnson and Richard Sanden.
