Louann Buchanan Mayes was born on June 4, 1950, in Greenville, Alabama to her parents, The Late Novelle Lee Rogers and Madie Rogers. She was raised in Sharon, Pennsylvania surrounded by her sisters, Ramona, Doreen and Sandra. She received her formal education in Sharon, Pennsylvania and granduated from Sharon High School. Louann relocated to Denver, Colorado. She was the proud mother of two beautiful children, Perry and Shawn. She was a loving and devoted mother whose pride and joy was the care and nurture of her family. On June 1, 2005, Louann united in holy matrimony to Calvin Mayes.
