Lottie Mae Gowl has continued her journey to be with God on January 3, 2023. She passed peacefully at the Dove House Hospice in Westminster, Maryland, surrounded by family and friends.
Lottie was born in West Virginia. One of three children of Ella Mae Easter and Allen Mason Scott. Lottie married Phillip Gowl in May 1964. They had two children Michael and Laura. Phillip passed away in 1979 and Michael in 2006. Lottie’s life partner Doug Gord passed in 2003.
Lottie is survived by her daughter Laura Waters, son-in-law Thomas Waters, stepdaughter Lorie Gordon and grandchildren Tommy and Keri Waters, and Ashley and Timmy Wells. She is also survived by her brother Rodney Scott and sister-in-law Iris Scott, as well as her niece and nephew Kim and Rodney Scott.
