Lory Ann Storek was born January 28, 1945 to Richard and Edna (Longnecker) Krueger in Norfolk, Nebraska. She graduated from Newman Grove High School in 1964.
On April 20, 1974, Lory married Larry D. Storek at Immanuel Lutheran Church, South Branch, in rural Albion, Nebraska.
Lory worked as a hair stylist, but her main passion was as a childcare provider. She cared for many families children during her forty year career. She considered her daycare children to be family.
She enjoyed gardening, going to grandchildrens activities and helping her mother, Edna. She was deeply devoted to her family and enjoyed being the one to take care of everyone. She especially enjoyed hosting holidays and collecting her beloved snowmen knick knacks.
Lory is survived by her husband of 41 years, Larry; two daughters Jodi (Rob) Woodard and Julie (Andy) Bose; six grandchildren Tyler, Kiersten, Kelsi, Brayden, Evan and Emilia; mother Edna; sister Angie (Bill) Hoppe; brother Tim (Theresa) Krueger; many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Richard.
