Lorri M. Keegan, 74, of Gilson, died at 2 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018, at home. Lorri was born September 19, 1943, in Chicago, the daughter of Ernest Patrick and Lorraine (Holz) Doll. She married Raymond F. Keegan on March 8, 1986, in Poconos, PA.

He survives Gilson. Lorri is also survived by two sons, James (Monica) Rice of Algonquin and Michael (Jennifer) Schulz of Port Barrington; one daughter, Cindy (Chris) Lancette of Lake in the Hills; along with 5 grandchildren, Peyton, Zoe, and Haley Rice, Justin Jurkowski, and Trevor Schulz. Lorri is also survived by a stepson, Lincoln Keegan of Atlanta, GA and a stepdaughter, Lorri L. Nastala of Milton, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ernest Doll.

In her younger years, Lorri worked as a model for Charles A. Stevens in Chicago. She later worked for Diversy Industries and last worked as the activities director at Countryside Manor in Elgin. Lorri was an avid reader and Civil War buff. She enjoyed volunteering her time. She was active in scouting for many years with the Bluebirds, Campfire Girls, and the Girl Scouts. She also volunteered with the American Red Cross and was the director of the FISH Food Pantry for over 10 years. She loved people and enjoyed hosting parties in her home which she was extremely proud of. She also loved her dogs and it was often said she loved them more than her family.
