Lorraine Roalson, 95, of Ottawa, formerly of Swea City, Iowa, died Monday morning, May 6, at the Ottawa Pavilion. Lorraine was born on April 18, 1924, in Burt, Iowa to Herman Anthony and Marie (Zimmerman) Lohse.
She was employed as a nursing home C.N.A. for 30 years. She married O. Harold Roalson on August 22, 1941, in Bethany, Missouri. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Swea City.
Lorraine is survived by one daughter, Patricia Schueler, of Ottawa, one son, Ronald (Bonnie) Roalson, of St. Claire, MN, 4 grandsons, Randy (Kathy), Brent (Toni), Kory, and James (Kimberly) Roalson, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 sister, Mathilda, 1 brother, Clarence, and two grandsons, Eric J. Schueler and Andrew Roalson.
