Lorraine Pearl Beazley went to be with her Lord Jesus on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at age 95. She was born October 26, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Otto and Elsie Becker.
After Lorraine graduated from high school she began working as a long distance telephone operator for the Bell Telephone Company. In 1947 she moved to Long Beach, CA and lived at the YWCA.
After the children were born the family moved to Livingston, California. Lorraine worked as a civilian telephone operator at Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, CA, retiring in 1978.
After her retirement Lorraine devoted many hours to caring for her grandchildren. She also had time to pursue her hobbies of china painting, oil painting, and photography. Lorraine also enjoyed reading and working jigsaw puzzles.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Laurence Beazley, her two sisters, Miriam Ashby and Jeanette Lang, and grandsons Thomas Beazley and Jacob Allen.
She is survived by her three children, son Jeffrey Beazley (Sally) and daughters Joyce Midgley and Miriam Allen (Carl). She is also leaving behind ten grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
