Mrs. Lorraine Olivier Hagen of New Orleans, LA, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the age of 85.
Lorraine (Rainey) was born to parents Alcide and Rose Olivier on May 17, 1930 in New Orleans, LA. She grew up one of six children and attended McDonough High School. In 1949, she married her 1st husband, Anthony Benelli and together they had 5 sons. In 1981 she married her sole mate, Lyle (Johnny) Hagen who passed away in 1999.
Lorraine Hagen was a loving mother and is survived by her 5 sons and their wives, David & Becky & Cathy, Danny & Judy, Donald & Carol, Gil & Ellen and James (Jimmy) & Carla, her sisters, Evelyn (El) Lewellen and Miriam (Mimsy) Whiddon. Lorraine is also survived by 10 grandchildren; Danny Jr., Becky, Steven, Tyler, Shane, Jesse, Gina, Dana, Allison and Emily and 6 great grandchildren; Ty, Mya, Jackson, Lillie, Lyle & Amalia.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Hagen; her daughter-in-law, Maryann Benelli; her parents, Alicde and Rose; her sister, Rosemary (Ro) Bonura and her brothers, Malcolm (Mal) and Alcide (Bu) Olivier.
