Lorraine Nall, 87, of Virginia, IL and formerly of Kilbourne, IL died Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville, IL.
She was born December 27, 1922 in Snicarte, IL; the daughter of Albert and Beulah Sarff Siltman. She married James H. Jim Nall on August 11, 1948 in Arkansas and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2000.
She is survived by three step children, Wilby (Jackie) Nall and Barbara (Tom) Scaggs, both of California, and Shirley (David) Avery of Arizona; 11 step grandchildren; 23 step great grandchildren; three step great great grandchildren; three nieces and a nephew, Pat Blair of Chandlerville and Ruth Ann Kenney, Richard Ball, and Judy Heintz, all of Peoria; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a step son, Jimmie Nall; two sisters, Virginia Vice and Hazel Ball; a brother, Warren Siltman; a nephew, Larry Darling; and a niece, Sandy Siltman.
Mrs. Nall was a graduate of Bath-Lynchburg High School and Browns Business College in Pittsfield. She was a life-long member of Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed working with her husband in the antique business and caring for her dogs, especially Suzie.
