Lorraine May Herrlinger, 90 of Dexter, MI and formerly of Bethlehem, PA passed away peacefully on the morning of Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in Ann Arbor, MI. Born in 1927 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Edward Peter and Dorothy Virginia Bloch Weaver.
Lorraine was a graduate of Liberty High School and later attended secretarial school in the Lehigh Valley. She married the late Charles Herrlinger and raised two sons, William Charles and Edward James Herrlinger. She worked as a secretary and later in manufacturing and sales. Lorraine was very active in many community activities and social clubs. She enjoyed helping with her sons’ cub-scout activities which included camping and fishing.
Later in life she was an active member of the local ABWA where she proudly held the presidency for a term. She adored animals, and lovingly doted on several pets over the years. Lorraine was always very social and loved to be the light of any event. She loved to have fun and would always make people smile, if not laugh.
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her son William Charles Herrlinger and his wife Teresa of Dexter, MI; siblings Edward Weaver, Nancy Arnold and Sally Weaver; and her loving grandchildren Stephanie Ann Herrlinger and Alexander Charles Herrlinger. Lorraine was preceded in death by her son Edward James Herrlinger and siblings Robert Weaver and Margaret Novack.
