Lorraine Kissinger, a friend to all, a “Mom” to many, and a loving mother to her two children passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by friends and family from complications of a long terminal illness on September 4, 2022. She was 75 years old. Lorraine was a Christian and a member of the Catholic Church.
Born September 3, 1947 in Evansville, IN to Thomas A. Miller and Kathrine Estelle (Allard) Miller.
Lorraine attended Rex Mundi Catholic School in Evansville, IN. She transferred to Marion High School for her senior year and graduated in 1965. Lorraine was active in many clubs in high school including the Dramatics Club, Girls Pep Club, FHA, Choir, GAA, School Newspaper, Homecoming Float Committee, Junior/Senior Play, Press Club, Hop Committee and Musical.
Lorraine was a “Mom” to everybody and had a kind loving attitude towards all people. She always put family first. Lorraine loved watching sports, travel, reading and working crossword puzzles. Lorraine was a exceptional cook and her family anticipated her delicious Iced Sugar Cookies every holiday. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas A. Miller and Kathrine Estelle (Allard) Miller; her sister Vivian Miller Lillierose and sister Terrill K. Miller Appel
Lorraine is survived by her children Angie Kissinger Reynolds (Troy) of Mt. Juliet, TN; Walt Kissinger (Pat) of Smyrna, TN; Brother, Thomas A. Miller (Carol) of Cincinnati, OH; Grandchildren, Devan Reynolds, Erin Reynolds and Zach Kissinger; Many nieces and nephews.
