Lorraine Kellam, 82, Huntington passed away at 5:00 AM on Friday, March 11, 2011, surrounded by her family, at Parkview Huntington Hospital Huntington, Indiana. Mrs. Kellam was born October 29, 1928 in Huntington to Antoni and Catherine Siemik Strass. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Charles Dean Kellam on April 25, 1952. He preceded her in death August 23, 2006.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN. Survivors include: three daughters: Carla S. Hardy, Indianapolis, Indiana, Marla A. Foster, Huntington, Indiana and Dena M. Kellam, Noblesville, Indiana, one son: David Kellam, Exeter, New Hampshire, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by a brother, Ivan Strauss.Lorraine was above all a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an unfailing supporter and true partner to her husband in the growth of Pulley-Kellam Company.

She enjoyed being an historic interpreter at the Forks of the Wabash, was a member of several women’s clubs and co-founded Majenica Creek Creations that offered her unique woven baskets and other original creations.
