Lorraine Gladys Rainey, Lorraine Gladys Rainey , 87 years of age , died peacefully Saturday morning on March 17, 2018 at the Masonicare Hospice in Wallingford, CT. Born in Hartford, CT, the youngest of five daughters (all predeceased) to Andrew and Maude Scott. She lived in CT all of her life, most recently in Norwich, CT for over the last twenty years.
Lorraine is survived by her four children and their spouses, Lynn and Robert Trombley of Harrisburg, NY, Michael and Dreama Rozanski of Aruba, William and Kelly Rozanski of South Windsor and Kimberly and Steven Ruppert of Manchester, CT. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Justin Trombley, Bethany Trombley, William Rozanski Jr., Holly Rozanski and Marissa Rozanski. She also had five great grandchildren, Kara Trombley, Mallory Trombley, Clark DelMastro, Carly Delmastro and Willow Rozanski She was predeceased by her ex-husband, Samuel Rozanski and widowed by Leo Rainey. She also leaves behind a special friend, Larry Nunes, and other friends and family.
Lorraine was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother who always gave of herself to make her children happy. She babysat all of her grandchildren full-time when they were younger which epitomizes how dedicated she was to her family. She was very loved and her smile and laughter will be missed by those who knew her.
