Monson/Ware- Lorraine E. (Royce) Kelly, 90, passed away peacefully February 2, 2023 in her home. Lorraine was born in Monson November 20, 1932 to the late Burt T. and Verna L. (Bradway) Royce. She was a graduate of Springfield Trade School. For several years she worked at Friendly’s Ice Cream in Wilbraham in the production department, and was a courier for the Springfield Republican, delivering the newspaper to her neighbors. Lorraine was active with 4-H, during her youth. She enjoyed watching birds and was a participant annually with the Audubon bird count. For many years she was a volunteer at the Monson Senior Center. Lorraine was an avid Red Sox fan, she never missed a game!
Lorraine was predeceased by her husband George E. Kelly. She leaves her daughter, Alice L. Davey and husband Mark of Monson; a son, William C.
