Lorraine E. Duffy, age 91, longtime resident of Milford and beloved wife of the late James J. Duffy, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Milford Hospital. Born on March 28, 1920 in Ansonia, she was the daughter of the late Ralph W. and Gertrude Robbins Preece.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen Thibadeau and husband Patrick of Cheshire and Susan Duffy of Milford. Also her cherished grandchildren, James Thibadeau and wife Jennifer of Newton, MA and Kevin Thibadeau and wife Susan of West Hartford, CT. and sister-in-laws, Joan Preece of ME and Clare Preece of GA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Edwin, Richard, Donald, Dean and Janet Preece.
