Lorraine DeWig, 89, of Ottawa died Monday morning, June 24, at her home. Lorraine was born Domenica Lorraine Baima on September 18, 1929, to Joseph and Josephine (Nadini) Baima. She retired from L.O.F. after 30 years of employment. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and Glassworker’s Local 19. She loved to go to the Riverboat Casinos and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son Robert (Julie) DeWig, Jr., of Ottawa, one granddaughter, Carly DeWig, of Galesburg, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Robert, one sister Rose Rexroat, and one brother Joseph Baima. The family wants to thank her neighbors, Mary and Clyde Kelly and Carol Wade, and good friends, Lori and Dan Devine and family for their love and friendship.
