Lorna A. (Griffin) Kobierski, 78, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Lorna grew up in Magnolia and lived in Gloucester most of her adult life. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Kobierski of Salem. Lorna enjoyed the beach, traveling, her special meetings with friends, local sports, going to the movies and walking her dog, Lele. She leaves three children, a daughter Krista Mackey and her husband Dan, grandchildren, Brendan and Sean Mackey, her son Kevin McCarthy husband of the late Erin (O’Brien), grandchildren Aislinn and Calum McCarthy, and her son Keith Place who resides in Georgia. She is the sister of Richard Griffin and his companion Elizabeth Ingersoll who reside in Florida, sister in-law of Carol Griffin of North Carolina and her children William, Kirt and Lisa. Sister of the late William Griffin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins who live out of state. “Miss Lorna” made many friends at the Atrium and the family would like to thank the staff for the care that was given.
