Lori Kay Davidson, 58, of O’Fallon, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon, IL. Lori was born June 11, 1963 in East St. Louis, IL. After high school, she continued her education with a focus on safety before opening her own institute of safety sciences.
Lori was also a member of many groups and organizations, such as: World Health Organization, National Association of Safety Professionals, Who’s Who of Safety, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and FEMA Disaster Response. She also loved animals, enjoyed her Ford Mustang muscle cars, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Through her death, Lori became an organ donor to help others. Lori was preceded in death by her father; Roland Hinson, one brother; James Shoots, one sister; Kimberly Shoots, and her step-mother; Janet Hinson.
Surviving is her beloved husband; Dr. Thomas W. Davidson of O’Fallon, IL, her mother; Carol Hinson, two children; Michael Huffman of Fairview Heights, IL, Matthew Bridger of O’Fallon, IL, five sisters; Linda Hinson of O’Fallon, IL, Tammy Hinson of Huntsville, AL, Rhonda (Shane) Pride of Jasper, IN, Angel (James) Tidwell of Vandalia, IL, and Brenda Abouomar of Slidell, LA, and two brothers; Chris (Kaitlyn) Hinson of Ft. Carson, CO and Jeff (Heather) Hinson of Fairview Heights, IL. Lori is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
