Lori Dale Lee Morrell, 48, of Bluffs, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born Dec. 12, 1972, in Okeechobee, FL, the daughter of Kenneth and Sharon Grant Lee. She married Duward L. Morrell on Nov. 5, 1994, in Sebring, FL, and he survives.
She is also survived by two children, Miranda Barney of Bluffs and Duward Leroy Morrell, II of Meredosia; three granddaughters, Nevaeh, Adanahy, and Lillianna; one sister, Lawana Ellis (husband, Jason) of Lake Placid, FL; and her stepfather, Robert Thomas Throgmorton of Bluffs. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Lee; her mother, Sharon Throgmorton; one son, Kenneth Daniel Morrell; and one brother, Ainsworth Q. “B.J.” Burkapile.
Lori was a member of Gospel Tabernacle in Meredosia. She loved the outdoors, loved making arts and crafts with her grandkids, and loved to sing. She had a heart of gold and looked for the good in everybody. She will be dearly missed.
