Lori Ann McLaughlin, 43, of Gaithersburg, Maryland, departed this life Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Lori was born April 4, 1969 to Walter Carver and Varnice Hollins.
Lori was raised and received her academic education in Hagerstown, Maryland. She graduated from North Hagerstown High School and continued her education at Washington Bible College, where she worked toward an Associates Degree in Christian Counseling. As a child, Lori had a passion for baseball and later became an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. In her leisure, she enjoyed listening to inspirational music and Bible teachings. She also enjoyed watching her favorite game shows, “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy”, and solving crossword puzzles. Lori had a great passion for writing, and has about nine books in the process of being completed or published!
Lori was employed for a number of years at CAC Medical Facility as a medical billing specialist. Lori loved her family and friends dearly. Her home was a place of warmth, fun, laughter, and entertainment, and where she served her famous “Cherry Dump Cake” that was loved by all.
