Lori Adams, age 50 of Humboldt, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas. Lori Lynn Adams, the daughter of Beth (Stevens) Ozbun and David Allen, was born on February 26, 1969 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Lori graduated from Central Webster Dayton High School in 1987. She furthered her education at Indian Hills Community College earning her Associates in Business.
On August 27, 2016 Lori was united in marriage with Gary Adams at the River Valley Orchards & Winery in Humboldt. She had recently started her new career as the business office manager at the Pocahontas Manor. She was a member of the Moose Lodge 806 in Fort Dodge. Lori had love and compassion for animals; especially her three miniature schnauzers. She loved to be known as the “crazy schnauzer lady.” Lori loved to watch her “fin babies” every night when Gary would feed them. Spending time with her step sons and step granddaughters was one of Lori’s favorite pastimes.
Left to cherish Lori’s memory are her husband, Gary; step sons, Nicholas Adams of Humboldt and Jacob (Elizabeth) Adams of Bode and their daughters Layla and Beverly; her mother, Beth Ozbun of Fort Dodge and father, David Allen of Bethany, MO. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
