LORETTE LESPERANCE SPALDING, a beloved South Florida centenarian, peacefully passed on January 18, 2017 just before celebrating her 101st birthday. Survived by son, Louis K. Lesperance, Esq. (Patricia); grandchildren, Dr. Lawrence Lesperance, Robert Lesperance, Esq. (Irene) and Lisa Lesperance, Esq.; great-grandchildren, Kaley, Kristine, Kourtney (and their mother Elke Lemaire); and Robert & Patricia. Lorette was born on February 10, 1916 to Vincent and Victoria Daszkiewicz in Chicago. Lorette married Louis Sienkiewicz, who was the grandson of Henryk Sienkiewicz, Nobel Prize Laureate, and gave birth to son Louis (Lesperance). Surviving The Great Depression, Lorette moved to Miami and married Don Lesperance. After his death, she married Harold Spalding. Proud of her heritage, Lorette co-founded the Polish-American Club of Miami. Lorette’s vast history included performing in Hollywood films, traveling the globe and extensive charity work. Lorette was in love with life until her last breath. Her smile lit up the room and her presence illuminated the universe. Celebrate Lorette’s joyful spirit and contagious attitude. Nostrovia!!!
