Loretta Violet Pachero, 82 “Zhashagi” which means “Blue Heron” of the Bullhead Clan, began her spiritual journey from the Red Lake Hospital on April 6, 2017.  She was born October 11, 1934 in Red Lake, Minnesota, the daughter of Albert Greeley and Nina Davis.

Loretta enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and sister. She especially loved being a great grandmother. She genuinely loved being around her family. Loretta loved going to the lake to watch the sunsets, cooking and collecting dreamcatchers. She loved life, joking around and listening to country music. She also enjoyed going to and singing at pow-wows and was a jingle dress dancer.

Family that Loretta joins again are her parents; Nina and Albert, daughter; Susan Roybal, Brothers; Ernest King, Daniel King, Donald King, Archie King, Joe King, Albert King, sisters; Rose Lussier and Louise Lussier.

Loretta’s memory will be carried on by her sons; Benjamin (Carol) Roybal, Albert (Marie) Roybal, Simon (Neoka) Roybal, Donald (Lisa) Roybal, John (Onawa) Roybal, Donald (Lena) Staples, daughter; Josephine Roybal, special niece; Carolyn King, special granddaughter; Vivianna Roybal, many nieces and nephews, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
