Loretta Ruth Hawkins, 63, of Shelby Run Rd passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born in Grafton, March 30, 1953, a daughter of the late Thomas N. Saucer and Mary Nanowsky Saucer. She is survived by her loving husband James “Jimmie” Hawkins, they were united in marriage May 29, 1972
Loretta loved life and people. She loved her daughter and grandsons with all her heart and the many kids that her grandsons brought to the house and she counted them as her grandsons too. Loretta was one you could count on for her to do just exactly what she told you she would do. She loved to farm and her cattle were a very important part of her life. She loved to be outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding her 4-wheeler. She graduated from Grafton High School Class of 1971.
She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Tacy and husband Rocky; two grandsons, Cody Tacy and Justin Tacy, all of Grafton; two sisters, Alice Walker, Philippi, Donna McCauley and husband Junior; one brother, Chester Saucer, all of Shelby Run; special aunt, Sally Morgan; special nephews, Jason Walker, Philippi, Johnny Frye and wife Heather, and their children, Oliva, Isaiah, Josiah, Michah, Maleah ,Philippi, special cousins, Jenn Iler and Gail Nanowsky, and many nieces and nephews.
