Loretta Rom, 86 of Lavallette, NJ passed away on Saturday September 6, 2014 at Harbor Terrace in Port Charlotte, Fl. She was born and raised in Paterson, NJ. She married and raised her own family in Paterson. The family maintained a home in Lavallette for many years before moving there permanently in the 1980’s upon retiring. Loretta was the Head Director of Fiscal Affairs with Preakness Healthcare Center in Wayne, NJ she was with the center for over 40 years. She was a parishioner of St. Pio of Pietrelcina RC Church in Lavallette, NJ where she also was a member of their Rosary Altar Society. A member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus.
Predeceased by her husband Anthony J. Rom in 2002. Surviving is her son Domenic Rom and his wife Kim of Wayne, NJ and her daughter Rose Rom-Perez and her husband Manuel of Lavallette and Punta Gorda, FL, three sisters; Connie Lacava, Betty DeVito, and Mary Ast, two grandchildren Alexander Rom and his wife Megan and Gregory Rom.
