SCHARICH, Mrs. Loretta R., Portage, MI. Passed away peacefully Sunday morning August 30, 2009 at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. Loretta was born February 15, 1922 the daughter of the late Frank and Neta Wainwright Rulason. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching birds, and loved watching the Detroit Tigers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Scharich, Jr.; a son, Richard Scharich; 4 sisters, Gertrude, Gladys, Marietta, and Jessie; and 3 brothers, Leonard, Frank, and William. Loretta is survived by 2 daughters, Judy Joe Thole of Vicksburg and Norma Jim Brausch of Kalamazoo; 10 grandchildren, Michelle Parsons, Cindi Trevor Bennett, Justin Baker, Joe Toni Thole, Brian Jolette Thole, Shannon Chad Coffinger, Kevin Thole, and Angela, Ritchie, and Leslie; her 9 great-grandchildren whom were the love of her life, Connor, Mason, Griffin, Cole, Lexi, Alex, Joe, Taylor, and Zach; 2 sisters, Mildred Connors of Portage and MaryLou Johnny Harris of Alger, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
