Mrs. Davis passed away Monday July 3, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Columbia and was the daughter of the late Edwin L. Turner and Sarah Frances Turner Rodgers. Mrs. Davis enjoyed watching the Andy Griffith show and listening to Elvis and Travis Tritt.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her children, Donna (David) Shumpert, Sylvia (Robbie) Broughton and Elizabeth (Greg) Stark; grandchildren, Valerie Platt (Robbin), David Shumpert, Jr. (Sonita), Christian Shumpert, Jimmy Brougton (Rebekah), Tyler Broughton, Kimberly Shumpert and Ricky Brougton; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Billy Rodgers (Joanne) and Bo Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents, former spouse, Jimmy Boyd Davis, brother, Ronald Turner and sister, Elizabeth Rodgers.
