Loretta M Chambers, 84, of Pendleton, passed away on February 3, 2021, at Methodist Hospital Indianapolis, IN. She was born on October 7, 1936 in Middletown, Indiana.
Loretta graduated from Markleville High School, Class of 1955.
She worked many years at Fort Benjamin Harrison and enjoyed her role providing equipment to the soldiers for their missions.
She was a member of Maple Grove Community Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and AMVETS.
Loretta is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and special friends. She is also survived by her step-daughter-in-law, Karen Cool-Searfoss; step-grandchildren, Joshawa Cool-Luke, Justin (Kelly) Cool-Luke and Jayme Cool-Luke; and very special lifelong friend, Sherry A. Riggs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mae Young; first husband, Robert Chambers; second husband, James “Red” W. Luke Sr., siblings: Dolly Fisher, Printes Young, Robert Young, Hobart Young, Minvel Young, Chester R. Young, and Earl Young.
