Loretta Hill Engelbert, age 70, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2009. Born in San Antonio, Tx, on March 27, 1939, she was the daughter of Edward Hill and Nancy Whitney Hill. She was a longtime resident of San Antonio and a member of the Episcopal church. For many years, Loretta had been a member of the Starlighters and the Model A Club. She loved music and had taught many children”s church choirs. She is preceded in death by her father Edward Hill, son, Daryl Engelbert, and sister, Sharon Boucher. Mrs. Engelbert is survived by her Mother, Nancy Hill of New Braunfels, Tx; Daughter, Kerry Engelbert Green and her husband, John; Grandchildren, Kendall Green and Jake Green, of Boerne, Tx; Brother, Whitney Hill and his wife, Dorothy; Nephew, Robert Hill and Niece, Sharon Hill of Denver, Colorado. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many family and friends who hold wonderfully fond memories of her. We have peace in knowing that she is entrusted to Gods everlasting care.
