Lorene Ruth (Gouge) Pryer, 93, of Boerne, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. She was born in Stoutland, Missouri, on March 9, 1917, daughter of Newton and Carrie Ann (Woolsey) Gouge. On December 22, 1937, she married Clarence F. Pryer. They were active in the Baptist Church their entire lives. They resided near Stoutland, Missouri, for many years. In 1983, they moved to Boerne, Texas. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law: Mary Ann Addison of Boerne, Betty and Bob Breiding of Walnut Grove, Missouri, and one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Lucille Pryer of Boerne; four grandchildren, Debbie (Addison) Harden of Stafford, Missouri, Doris Lee (Addison) Keane of Waynesboro, Mississippi, Glen A. Pryer of Mission Veijo, California, and Jennifer (Pryer) Long of McKinney, Texas. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, one sister, Irene Powell of Appleton City, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clarence Pryer, son-in-law, Martin Addison, three sisters and one brother.
