Lorene Nollman, age 92 of Shiloh, IL, formerly of Centralia, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Cedarhurst Assisted Living in Shiloh.
She was born on September 16, 1923 in Dowell, IL, a daughter to Natale and Annunziata (Ogolini) Lenzini. On June 26, 1947, she married Kenneth Nollman in Centralia and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2003.
Lorene is survived by two sons, Danny Nollman and wife Laura of Belleville, IL and Jerry Nollman and wife Glenda of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; four grandchildren, Stacey Ruff and husband Bill, Nicolas Nollman, Amy Perez and husband Carlos, and Andrew Nollman and wife Megan; five great-grandchildren, Ella and Lily Ruff, Jerard and Julian Perez, and Tyler Nollman; two sisters-in-law, Billie Nollman and Mary Ann Nollman; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents, Natale and Annunziata Lenzini; two brothers, Luciano and Johnny Lenzini; a sister, Rosa Mary Ann Lenzini; and two brothers-in-law, Bob and Larry Nollman.
Lorene was of the Methodist faith. Prior to her marriage, she worked for Hollywood Candy Co. in Centralia. Once married, she worked as a homemaker and housewife, caring for her family. She loved roller-skating, bowling, making crafts, and dancing. Lorene had a green-thumb and grew beautiful flowers in her garden.
She was an expert wood finisher and loved antiques. She shared with her family her love of wood furniture, teaching them everything she knew about it. Lorene loved spending time with her family.
