Born in Duplin Co. she is the daughter of the late Asper and Irene Graham Glaspie.

Bellinger of Silver Springs, MD, Bernard Bellinger of Faison and Michael Bellinger Sr. (JoAnn) of Upper Marlboro, MD; three grandchildren, Michelle N. Bellinger, Michael Bellinger Jr. and Marcus Bellinger; one sister, Bernice McKoy (Doug) of Philadelphia, PA; three brothers, James Glaspie (Mary) of Mystic, CT, Freddie Glaspie (Julia) of Philadelphia, PA and Lovonzel Glaspie of Farmville; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
