Lorene Beatrice (Hoggard) McDaniel, 74, of Middletown, wife of the late Harry Lee McDaniel, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 19th at Middlesex Hospital and is now at peace in the arms of the Lord. Born August 11, 1935 in Colerain, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James R. and Mollie D. (Simpson) Hoggard, Sr. Lorene lived in Middletown, after relocating from Philadelphia, PA in 1973. She was a member of New Jerusalem Christian Center in Middletown. She is survived by four beloved sons, Warren McDaniel, Harry McDaniel, III, Ronald McDaniel and Danny McDaniel, all of Middletown; six beloved daughters, Shelia McDaniel, Carolyn Hart (Calvin), Patricia McDaniel Ventre (Daniel), Kathleen McDaniel (Wayne Jackson), Denise McDaniel (Eddy Green) and Nina McDaniel (Willey Manzie), all of Middletown; a brother, Tryon Hoggard of Middletown; three sisters, Katherleen Duncan (Johnnie “JB”) of Philadelphia, PA, Shirley Hoggard of Middletown, and Doreatha Green (Milton) of Middletown; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; a special friend, Sam Mention and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband and parents, Lorene was predeceased by a brother, James R. Hoggard, Jr. and two sisters, Bette Simmons and Alice Gaskins.
