She was born in Minneapolis, MN on August 21st, 2003, the daughter of Roberta (Bowstring) and Steven Bellanger, Sr.

Rena was a very outspoken young lady who always spoke her mind. She loved putting her makeup on “just right”, getting dolled up and doing photoshoots. Rena was super silly, loved to have fun and had a laugh that was contagious. She enjoyed browsing Facebook and Youtube and just being on her phone. Rena liked a wide variety of music and spending her time with her friends. She was a Junior at the Bemidji Lumberjack High School and was 2 weeks shy of completing her Certified Nursing Course at Northwest Tech. Rena loved all her nieces and nephews dearly and being with them as often as she could. She was appreciative of all things and was fascinated by a lot.  Rena will forever be missed and was loved by all who knew her.

She is welcomed to the spirit world by her biological mother, Carrie Bellanger; sister, Violet Bellanger; auntie, Francine Kingbird; uncle, Ron Bowstring; and grandparents, Antone and Joanie Bellanger and Rosella Kingbird (Bowstring) and Francis Greenleaf.

Those she leaves behind are her parents, Steven and Roberta Bellanger of Red Lake, siblings, Valerie Dodge, LaVonne Bellanger, Ron, Mirando, and Jose Gurno all of Duluth, Steven Bellanger, Jr and Robin (Tomi) Roy, Sr. both of Red Lake, Randi Roy of Bemidji and Yvette Bellanger of Detroit, MI; numerous other relatives and too many friends to list.
