Lorena Stabler Rusk, 79, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday June 5, 2014. She was born January 5, 1935 in LaPlace Illinois to E.E. Stabler, and Sarah Inez Fought Stabler. Lorena was a graduate of Mecca Indiana High School, as well as a graduate of Smart Appearances Beauty School, and Eugenies Advance Beauty School in Chicago Illinois. She was a cosmetologist for 17 years in Illinois, then moved back to Indiana where she worked in several different offices. Her main interest through the years was caring for her grandchildren and the children of several professionals in Terre Haute. Lorena was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband; Donald Rusk. She is survived by her three children; Donna Eisman and her husband Mike of Farmersburg, DiAnne Reed and her husband Tom of Bowling Green, Indiana, and Brian Rusk of Terre Haute, two brothers; Jack Stabler and his wife Sharon of Tarpon Springs, Florida, and John Stabler and his wife Donna of Wisconsin, one sister; Peggy Lee Stabler Young and her husband Richard of Indianapolis, six grandchildren; Joshua Rusk and his wife Shena of Burlington, Kentucky, Lorah Miller and her husband Nick of Ladson, South Carolina, Jeremiah Winters and his wife Kelsie of Kokomo, Serena Winters of Vincennes, Jarod Craig of Terre Haute, and Dalton Rusk of Terre Haute, three great grandchildren; Owen Miller, Gradon Rusk, and Jushia Arnold, as well as many other friends, family, and loved ones.
