Loren “Jerry” Hartley, 75, of Anderson, passed away on September 16, 2019, at his residence. He was born on February 20, 1944, in Muncie, Indiana, and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Jerry graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1962. He was a Frankton Police Officer for 25 years, worked for General Motors for 33 years, and also worked for the Indiana Department of Correction for 10 years. He enjoyed being outside working in his yard, building different models of cars and airplanes, but especially loved to spend time with his family.
Jerry is survived by his son, Bill (Michelle) Hartley of Anderson; step-daughter, Terri (Mike) Yust of Summitville; and half-brother, Chuck (Cindy) Hamilton of Spring Port, IN.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife whom he married on August 16th, 1986, Judi Hartley.
