Those left to honor Loren’s memory are his daughter, Beth Campbell of Newton; son and daughter-in-law, Steve Loupee and Maria Sera of St. Paul, Minnesota; and his 2 grandchildren, Alison Campbell and her husband, Pete Webster, of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Pete Campbell of Chicago, Illinois.

Loren served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Loren graduated from Kellogg High School in 1935 and from Central College in Pella, Iowa in 1940.

He was the Chairman of the Retail Merchants Bureau for the first Ridiculous Day, and past President of the Newton Chamber of Commerce, past Chairman of the United Way Fund Drive.
