Loree C. (DeVol) Bartle, 63, of Anderson, passed away on August 19, 2017 at the Vibra Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN.
She was born on December 3, 1953 in Anderson, where she resided most of her life. Loree graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1972. She worked for the Anderson Herald Bulletin in the Circulation Department, and retired in 2016 after 26 years of service. She was a member of Madison Park Church of God. Loree liked to watch the Colts, her favorite TV shows, musicals, was fascinated with storms, but she especially loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.
Loree is survived by her loving daughter, Jama (Andrew) Newton of Anderson; son, Timothy DeVol of Anderson; siblings, Linda Jarolim of Anderson, Dave DeVol of Bellevue, NE, Lisa (Brian) Harney of Anderson, and Christi Brannan; and grandchildren, Michael DeVol, Jacob and Jordan Short, Alexa Humphries, and Leah and Mikie Newton. Also surviving is her aunt, Virginia Barnes, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Wanda (Stewart) DeVol; brother, Tim DeVol; grandmother, Myrtle Taylor; nephew, Aaron Alexander; and niece, Melissa Taylor.
