E. Loraine Neurohr, 89 of rural Ottawa died Friday, April 14, 2017 at Mendota Lutheran Home. Loraine was born on June 22, 1927, in Marseilles, to Guyer and Iona (Nelson) Thompson. She married Martin Neurohr on October 20, 1951.

Loraine was a member of the American Legion Post 234 in Marseilles and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a cook for Rutland School, Camp Tuckabachee, and Appleway Catering. She is survived by three children, Carrie Jo (David) Trimmer of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Guy (Patricia) Neurohr of Ottawa; and Neal (Roxie) Neurohr of Ottawa; two grandchildren, Kathrenia Trimmer and Jay M. Trimmer both of Pleasant Prairie, WI.; one step-granddaughter, Megan (April) Jording; two step-great grandchildren, Jase Jording and Austin Hack of Lostant; a sister Betty (George) Duvall of Seneca; and a brother Eugene (Marian) Thompson of Marseilles. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Martin, on March 2, 2012, her parents and one sister Doris Shelton.
